India's Golden Boy Neeraj Chopra Ties The Knot In A Private Ceremony
January 19, 2025: Neeraj Chopra, the two-time Olympic medallist, has tied the knot with Himani Mor in a private ceremony, sharing the joyous occasion with his fans on social media.
The Indian javelin champion posted beautiful pictures from the wedding on January 19, offering a glimpse into the heartfelt ceremony. He notably shared a touching moment featuring his mother offering blessings during the event, which resonated deeply with his followers.
The wedding came as a surprise, as Neeraj had kept the details of the event under wraps. His fans expressed their delight with an outpouring of congratulations, and notable figures like former cricketer Suresh Raina and actor Gajraj Rao were among the first to extend their best wishes.
Neeraj’s marriage comes after his impressive performance at the Paris Games 2024, where he earned a silver medal in javelin throw, following his historic gold at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. At the Paris Games, Neeraj finished second to Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem, who won gold with a throw of 92.97 meters. Despite missing out on the gold, Neeraj’s throw of 89.45 meters remained a commendable effort. His personal best stands at 89.94 meters, achieved during the 2022 Stockholm Diamond League, bringing him ever so close to breaking the coveted 90-meter mark in javelin.
