Soha Ali Khan Shares Family Anecdotes about Sharmila Tagore and Pataudi Legacy

Actor Soha Ali Khan recently offered fans a heartwarming look into her star-studded family’s dinner gatherings, sharing rare anecdotes and opening up about the dynamics with her late father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, and mother, Sharmila Tagore.

Soha, who is part of a prominent family that includes actors Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu, and the new generation like Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, revealed who truly keeps the mood light during their family meals.

Kareena and Kunal are the ‘Most Entertaining’

In a conversation with ANI, Soha spoke candidly about her husband, Kunal Kemmu, and her sister-in-law, Kareena Kapoor Khan, crowning them the most entertaining people at the dinner table.

“When you have dinner with a bunch of actors like us, we tend to talk about ourselves a lot,” Soha admitted good-naturedly. “Having said that, there are also very entertaining people at the dinner table. The most entertaining people are Kareena and Kunal. On a good day, they really make us laugh a lot,” she shared.

The Pataudi-Khan Sense of Humour

Soha noted that she and her brother, Saif Ali Khan, share a common sense of humour. She attributed this shared trait to several factors: “It comes a little bit from our common upbringing, which also has to do with my father genetically perhaps, but also with our exposure to studying abroad, being in England, having a sort of self-deprecating humour, and just having a sense of humour.”

🎨 Saba Pataudi’s Artistic Inclinations and Saif’s Career Path

Reflecting on her years studying abroad, Soha also shed light on the contrasting personalities and career paths of her siblings, Saif Ali Khan and Saba Pataudi.

Saif Ali Khan: Soha recalled their separate schooling paths: “He (Saif) was in Winchester for schooling while I was growing up… After he came back, he boarded a film and went somewhere. When he came back, he decided to go to Mumbai.”
Saba Pataudi: Soha emphasized that her sister is the artistic one: “Saba is more artistic. She went to the Delhi College of Art, and she went to the GIA (Gemological Institute of America), and she did jewellery designing. She’s more artistically inclined. She never got into films. She would not want to be on camera. But she enjoys being behind the scenes. She enjoys photography,” she shared.

Soha herself stated, “I’m the one who wanted to make my parents proud, and I think I was trying to carve my own identity,” suggesting a strong drive distinct from her siblings.
