Is ‘A Better Place’ Just an Illusion?
June 17, 2025: Actors Theo Rossi, Billy Campbell, and Rosaline Elbay are set to star in the upcoming feature thriller A Better Place, produced by Virgo Films and helmed by writer-director Anton Sigurdsson.
The story follows a disgraced deputy, his tense partner, and a bold, sharp-tongued female prisoner who attempt to cover up a hit-and-run. But what starts as a desperate lie unravels into a dark spiral of paranoia, greed, and long-buried secrets that threaten to destroy them all.
Producers Wes Hull, Jason Armstrong, Diana Hull, Erlingur Jack Gudmundsson, Theo Rossi, and Sigurdsson promise a wild cinematic experience. “This is Theo, Billy, and Rosaline like you’ve never seen them before,” said Hull. “The movie is a mix of suspense, dark humor, and raw emotion. It’s an odyssey, a rollercoaster, and we’re proud of every frame.”
Rossi recently appeared in HBO Max’s The Penguin and Netflix’s Carry-On. Campbell, best known for The Rocketeer, Enough, and Dracula, continues to impress with layered performances. Elbay brings her acclaimed talent from Ramy and The Diplomat.
