July 27, 2025: The release date of Anushka Sharma’s long-awaited comeback movie, “Chakda Xpress” is still a mystery, leaving both fans and cast members in the dark. Dibyendu Bhattacharya, an actor who plays a big part in the biopic, reportedly said he was confused and excited for the movie to eventually come out.

Bhattacharya didn’t hold back when he talked about how excited he was in an exclusive interview. He said, “You don’t know how much I’m looking forward to the movie coming out because it’s so good.” He even said he had seen a nearly finished version of the movie. “I saw it at Prosit’s [director Prosit Roy’s] house. I told him, “It’s not coming out, but since you have it, at least let me see it.” He told me it wasn’t quite done yet and that not everything had been done, but I watched it anyhow. It’s such a wonderful movie.

The actor then went on to praise Anushka Sharma’s performance as cricketer Jhulan Goswami. “This is Anushka Sharma’s best performance thus far. I don’t know why they aren’t putting it out. The movie is incredibly, really good.

Bhattacharya said he had “no idea” when asked if the movie had been put on hold or put on hold. He went on to say, “If I knew anything about the movie, I would tell you first.” I don’t sure what to think because Clean Slate is on one side and Netflix is on the other. I have no idea what’s going on between the two.

Bhattacharya talked on the bigger effects of these delays, even if he was personally interested. “As an actor, I really want the movie to come out.” Making a movie takes a lot of work. It’s a long and emotionally draining journey from the first day of research to the final print. There are so many people engaged. One movie has so many hopes and dreams riding on it. Many families depend on the money it makes, such technicians and daily wage laborers. It makes me really sad.

He said with confidence, “I want the movie to come out right away.” And I’m telling you, it’s a great movie. A great movie. And Anushka’s best work thus far.

Anushka’s brother Karnesh Ssharma co-founded Clean Slate Filmz, which is behind it. There were indications that Clean Slate Filmz’s deal with Netflix was over, which may mean that the movie would be delayed or that they would have to buy it again to find alternative places to show it.
