Bollywood stars Shilpa Shetty and Suniel Shetty were recently spotted reuniting at an event in Mumbai, sparking waves of nostalgia among fans.

In visuals captured by paparazzi, the two actors were seen exchanging pleasantries and posing for photos.

Shilpa couldn’t help but laugh when the paparazzi started calling her “Anjali,” the name of her character from their iconic film Dhadkan (2000).

Their reunion immediately sent fans down memory lane, with social media abuzz with comments urging the actors to make Dhadkan 2. One fan wrote, “Nostalgic…please do Dhadkan 2,” while another expressed, “We would love to see you guys together in a film.” The chemistry between Shilpa and Suniel in Dhadkan, where they starred alongside Akshay Kumar, remains one of the most beloved aspects of the movie.

At the event, Shilpa dazzled in an ivory saree paired with a pearl-embellished blouse and statement mang tika, while Suniel looked sharp in a grey blazer and matching pants.

On the work front, Shilpa is set to appear in the Kannada film KD: The Devil, a period action entertainer based on true events from 1970s Bangalore, starring alongside Dhruva Sarja, Sanjay Dutt, and Nora Fatehi. Suniel, meanwhile, has exciting projects lined up, including Hunter 2 and The Legend of Somnath.
