June 29, 2025: Renowned filmmaker Mohit Suri is returning to his roots with the romantic musical Saiyaara, starring newcomers Ahaan Pandey and Aneet Padda. With music by Tanishk Bagchi already trending across platforms, Suri emphasizes that melody remains the soul of his storytelling.
Suri shared that music is not just an element but a foundation in all his films—from Murder 2 to Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain.
“Everyone thinks I’m good with music—I’m not. I just know love songs. But I use music as screenplay, not garnish,” he said.
Unlike many directors, Suri refuses to shoot until the soundtrack is complete, especially for a romance like Saiyaara.

“Good music is as important as the chemistry between leads,” he noted, adding that it anchors the emotional heartbeat of a love story.
