Is Orlando Bloom Starting Over Without Katy Perry?
July 1, 2025: Actor Orlando Bloom appears to be embracing a fresh start following his reported breakup with longtime fiancée Katy Perry. Taking to Instagram, the Pirates of the Caribbean star shared a series of cryptic, soul-searching messages that sparked speculation among fans. One post quoted Buddha:“Each day is a new beginning. What we do today is what matters most.”
Another followed, citing Japanese philosopher Daisaku Ikeda:“The important thing is to take that first step. Bravely overcoming one small fear gives you the courage to take on the next.” The reflective posts come shortly after reports confirmed the end of Bloom and Perry’s nearly six-year engagement. The couple, who co-parent their daughter Daisy Dove, have not commented publicly, but their social media activity has drawn attention.
Bloom was recently spotted in Venice, Italy, attending the Jeff Bezos–Lauren Sánchez wedding alone, where he was seen mingling with Leonardo DiCaprio, Sydney Sweeney, and Tom Brady.
Meanwhile, Perry seemed to be enjoying some solo time herself. Just a day before the breakup reports surfaced, she posted cheerful pictures from Rottnest Island in Australia, interacting with quokkas, playing with birds, and goofing around with her team during a boat ride — all while preparing for her sold-out Lifetimes tour show in Adelaide.
While both stars are keeping things lighthearted in public, their posts suggest they’re each turning a page — separately.
