June 13, 2025: Keerthy Suresh is ready to bring the heat in her much-awaited action-comedy Revolver Rita. The actress took to social media to announce that the film will hit theatres worldwide on August 27. Sharing a high-energy promo video, she wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Rita is ready to roll baby. #RevolverRita from 27th August.”

Directed and written by JK Chandru, the film promises a quirky blend of action and comedy, with Keerthy in a never-seen-before avatar. Produced by Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisamy under Passion Studios and The Route, the movie also features a vibrant soundtrack by Sean Roldan.

Joining Keerthy in key roles are Radhika Sarathkumar, Sunil, Ajay Ghosh, Redin Kingsley, John Vijay, and Suresh Chakravarthy. The teaser hints at Keerthy playing a powerful, eccentric character with a rebellious streak.

This marks her return to the big screen after her appearance in Baby John, a Varun Dhawan-starrer that released in December last year — a Hindi remake of Vijay’s Tamil blockbuster Theri.

As fans gear up for Revolver Rita, all eyes are on Keerthy Suresh’s bold transformation into a high-octane, gun-slinging heroine.
