February 25, 2025: Isha Ambani, the daughter of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and Founder-Chairperson of Reliance Foundation Nita Ambani, visited Prayagraj to take part in the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela.
She offered prayers at the sacred Triveni Sangam, where the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers converge. Isha Ambani was seen participating in the holy rituals in the presence of Swami Chidanand Saraswati, the president of Parmarth Niketan Ashram.

The Maha Kumbh Mela has seen a massive turnout of devotees this year, with many celebrities like Katrina Kaif, Akshay Kumar, Preity Zinta, and Sonali Bendre also joining in the spiritual festivities. Isha’s visit to Prayagraj is part of the ongoing participation of thousands of pilgrims who gather at the Triveni Sangam to take a dip in the holy waters.
The Mela has already witnessed a record-breaking number of participants, with more than 62 crore devotees attending the event, including over 1.30 crore on just Monday. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took to social media to express his gratitude for the overwhelming participation, highlighting that the Kumbh Mela is a symbol of unity and faith for people worldwide.
The last day of the Maha Kumbh Mela is expected to coincide with the Mahashivratri festival on Wednesday, February 26, drawing even more devotees to the event. The event is seeing significant efforts to ensure cleanliness and proper sanitation, with over 15,000 sanitation workers engaged in a large-scale cleanliness drive.
This year’s Maha Kumbh Mela has set a new Guinness World Record for the number of sanitation workers involved in this effort, with the final results expected to be announced on February 27.
With a remarkable turnout and heightened religious fervor, the Maha Kumbh Mela continues to be a testament to India’s deep-rooted spiritual and cultural traditions.
