May 25,2025: Israel’s National Security Council (NSC) has officially raised the travel warning level for Canada, citing an “occasional threat” to Israelis and Jews in the country. The advisory, issued on Sunday, urges Israeli citizens to exercise increased caution, particularly in public spaces.

The threat level for Canada has now been elevated from Level 1 (no warning) to Level 2, indicating the presence of sporadic threats.

🔺 Rising Incidents of Violence

This decision follows an uptick in anti-Israel incidents in Canada over the past 18 months, including:

  • Shootings
  • Molotov cocktail attacks
  • Direct threats against Jewish institutions and individuals

The NSC specifically warned against displaying Jewish or Israeli symbols in public and recommended staying alert to any suspicious activity.
