“It Was So Stressful…”, Says ‘Emily in Paris’ Star Ashley Park As She Finds This Scene Challenging To Shoot

Ashley Park, known for her role as Mindy Chen in Emily in Paris, recently opened up about a challenging scene she filmed in Season 4 of the series.

In a segment that Park described as “every actor’s worst nightmare,” she performed during a bold Crazy Horse sequence in episode 8.

She shared her experience of being on stage, surrounded by skilled dancers, and how nerve-wracking it was to strip down while singing.

Park credited choreographer Kyle Hanagami and her support team for helping her through the stress of the performance. To navigate her nerves, Mindy creatively uses purses thrown by her friend Emily (played by Lily Collins) for cover while performing to Britney Spears’ “Oops!… I Did It Again.”

Reflecting on the scene, Park expressed pride in her work, emphasizing that it’s an unforgettable experience.

She also mentioned another poignant moment in the season finale, where Mindy writes a song inspired by a magical night in Rome. Park noted that the song is special as it reflects her character’s journey and life truths, thanks to songwriter Freddy Wexler’s contributions. Parts 1 and 2 of Emily in Paris Season 4 are currently streaming.
