“It’s yours soon” : Alia Bhatt And Diljit Dosanjh Teases Fans With New Track “Chal Kudiye”

Fans are in for a treat as Diljit Dosanjh and Alia Bhatt reunite after nearly eight years for a new track titled ‘Chal Kudiye’, set to feature in Alia’s forthcoming film ‘Jigra’.

Their last collaboration, the hit song ‘Ikk Kudi’ from the 2016 film Udta Punjab, remains a fan favorite, and the anticipation for this new track is palpable

Alia shared a teaser for ‘Chal Kudiye’ on Instagram, sparking excitement among fans. The teaser features Alia facing away from the camera in a t-shirt emblazoned with the word ‘Ghar’ (Home), while Diljit Dosanjh makes a striking appearance in an all-white outfit. The teaser also prominently displays the title of the film, ‘Jigra’.

Alia captioned the teaser, “It’s yours soon #ChalKudiye @diljitdosanjh #Jigra in cinemas 11th October.” Fans quickly flooded the comments with excitement, with one calling them “my two most favourite people in one frame” and another predicting “A chartbuster loading.”

Earlier, Alia shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the set, showing a lighthearted exchange between her and Diljit. The image featured two chairs labeled ‘The said Kudi’ for Alia and ‘Sings about Kudi’ for Diljit, with Alia humorously captioning it, “Chairs say it all.”

The track ‘Chal Kudiye’ reunites Alia and Diljit after their last collaboration on the critically acclaimed 2016 film Udta Punjab. Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, the film marked Diljit’s Bollywood debut, and their song ‘Ikk Kudi’ became a major hit, contributing to the film’s overall success.

Jigra is Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra is set to release on October 11, 2024. The teaser trailer shows Alia Bhatt in a gripping role, as she faces intense personal and familial challenges, including an attempt to free a character played by Vedang Raina. The trailer also highlights a sibling bond and features a modern version of the classic song ‘Phoolon Ka Taaron Ka’.
