April 30, 2025: Jaat Box Office Day 20: Sunny Deol Starrer Struggles to Maintain Momentum, Earns ₹65 Lakh on Tuesday
Sunny Deol’s action thriller Jaat witnessed a further drop in earnings on its 20th day at the box office. According to early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk, the film collected ₹65 lakh on Tuesday, mirroring Monday’s figures. The weekday slump has slowed down its momentum significantly after a promising second weekend.
So far, Jaat has earned a total of ₹86.3 crore (India net), and while it has crossed the ₹80 crore mark, analysts believe it needs a strong second weekend to enter the ₹100 crore club.
Trade analyst Sumit Kadel recently noted, “Jaat is likely to cross ₹80 crore from this point. If the second weekend holds strong, it might just make it to the ₹100 crore club.” The film collected ₹19.1 crore in its second week alone, offering some hope for a late surge.
Film critic Taran Adarsh gave Jaat a 3.5-star rating, calling it a “power-packed” entertainer. “Sunny Deol roars again… A full-on mass entertainer driven by Sunny’s heroism, whistle-worthy dialogues, and raw action,” he wrote. He did, however, note that the second half could have benefitted from tighter writing and stronger emotional impact.
Jaat, directed by Gopichandh Malineni, is available in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. Alongside Sunny Deol, the film features Randeep Hooda as the antagonist Rana Tunga. The cast also includes Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher, Vineet Kumar Singh, Ramya Krishnan, Babloo Prithiveeraj, and Jagapathi Babu.
With competition heating up at the box office, the coming weekend will be crucial in determining whether Jaat can breach the coveted ₹100 crore mark.
