Jaat Box Office Collection Day 7: Sunny Deol’s Action Drama Stalls at ₹57.5 Crore, Fails to Cross ₹60 Crore in Opening Week
April 17, 2025 | Sunny Deol’s action-packed comeback in Jaat hasn’t quite lived up to the hype. After opening to modest numbers, the film managed to collect only ₹57.5 crore net in its first week, according to Sacnilk.com. Released on April 10, the film saw its highest single-day collection on Sunday with ₹14 crore, but failed to sustain momentum during the weekdays.
On Wednesday (Day 7), Jaat earned just ₹4 crore, marking a steady dip as the weekdays kicked in.
While Jaat did cross the ₹50 crore mark by Tuesday, its struggle to maintain daily earnings raises doubts over whether it can touch ₹100 crore at the domestic box office without a strong second weekend.
In a recent interview with Bollywood Life, Sunny Deol opened up about the growing pressure actors face due to box office chatter:

“I have not taken pressure basically ever in my life. But aaj ke zamaane mein even if you are not taking, koi sui chubho deta hai ki pressure lo!”
“So many conversations about numbers make you nervous,” he added.
Despite the dip in earnings, Jaat continues to receive appreciation for its cinematic presentation.
Adding to the pressure, Jaat also faced controversy this week over a church scene, sparking backlash from sections of the Christian community and leading to protest slogans against Randeep Hooda, who also features in the film.
