Jaat Box Office Day 4: Sunny Deol’s Actioner Misses ₹50 Cr Mark, But Sunday Surge Offers Hope

With a ₹14 crore Sunday push, Sunny Deol’s ‘Jaat’ collects ₹40.25 crore in its extended opening weekend—marking his second-best start after ‘Gadar 2’.

April 14, 2025: Sunny Deol’s mass entertainer Jaat wrapped up its extended opening weekend with a domestic collection of ₹40.25 crore, falling short of the coveted ₹50 crore mark. Despite a relatively slow start, the film gained momentum by Sunday, pulling in an impressive ₹14 crore—its best single-day figure so far.

The four-day collection cements Jaat as Sunny Deol’s second-biggest opening weekend after the thunderous Gadar 2, which had raked in ₹135 crore in just three days back in 2023.

According to Sacnilk, the film recorded a strong pickup across both mass belts and multiplexes by Sunday, hinting at positive word-of-mouth and a potentially solid second week.

Day-wise Box Office Breakdown (Nett India):

  • Thursday (Opening Day): ₹9.5 crore
  • Friday: ₹7 crore
  • Saturday: ₹9.75 crore
  • Sunday: ₹14 crore
  • Total: ₹40.25 crore

Despite its underwhelming start, the weekend trajectory suggests Jaat could hold well in the coming days, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets where Deol continues to enjoy massive popularity.
