‘Jaat’ Jumps Back on Track: Sunny Deol's Mass Actioner Roars with ₹10 Cr Saturday Boost
New Delhi, April 13, 2025 – Sunny Deol’s high-octane action drama Jaat, directed by Gopichand Malineni, staged a powerful comeback on Saturday after a slight dip in its second-day collection. Released on April 10, the film earned a solid ₹10 crore (net) on Day 3, taking its domestic total to ₹26.50 crore.
The Baisakhi weekend appears to be working in Jaat’s favor, with Saturday’s collections rising 42.86% compared to Friday, giving fans and producers a much-needed boost. The movie had opened with ₹9.5 crore on Day 1 but saw a drop on Day 2, as reported by Sacnilk.

Sunny Deol, alongside the Jaat team, promoted the film with city visits across Ghaziabad, Meerut, and Noida on April 12, further energizing its regional base.
In its first two days, Jaat grossed ₹22.5 crore globally, including ₹3 crore overseas and ₹19.5 crore gross in India. However, the production house Mythri Movie Makers claimed the worldwide tally touched ₹20.1 crore in just 48 hours.
Taran Adarsh commented on X, “Jaat witnessed a predictable dip on Friday after the Mahavir Jayanti boost, but mass circuits held strong.” He emphasized that the extended weekend including Ambedkar Jayanti (Monday) could determine the film’s Week 1 fate.
Sumit Kadel added, “Jaat is showing 35–40% growth on Saturday. The jump is encouraging, though hitting the ₹10 crore mark was crucial today.”
Alongside Sunny Deol, the film stars Viineet Kumar Singh, Ramya Krishnan, Jagapathi Babu, and Randeep Hooda (as the menacing Ranatunga). The film blends 90s-style action with massy entertainment aimed at tier-2 and tier-3 audiences.
