Jaat vs Sikandar: Sunny Deol Outshines Salman Khan in Day 1 Ticket Pre-Sales on BMS!
April 10, 2025: Jaat vs Sikandar: Sunny Deol Outshines Salman Khan in Day 1 Ticket Pre-Sales on BMS!
🔥 Sunny Deol is back — and so is his box office magic. His latest action entertainer Jaat has taken a strong lead over Salman Khan’s Sikandar in first-day ticket pre-sales on BookMyShow. Despite a shorter booking window, Jaat raced ahead with 9% more Day 1 bookings than Sikandar, which had the advantage of a five-day head start.
Jaat, which opened its advance booking on April 8 ahead of its April 10 release, logged a solid 6.28K ticket sales on the first day itself. In comparison, Sikandar saw a slower start even with an earlier launch, putting Sunny Paaji’s film firmly in the spotlight.
While it may not reach the towering pre-sale benchmarks set by Gadar 2 or 2025’s Chhaava, Jaat is clearly connecting with audiences who’ve long missed Sunny’s iconic screen presence and power-packed dialogues. The film’s blend of raw action, patriotic fervour, and Deol’s signature charisma has ignited early excitement.
With limited time before release, Jaat still has a tough climb to match Sikandar’s overall 281K+ pre-sales figure, but the early signs suggest it might just pull off an upset. The masses have spoken — and they’re here for the return of the ‘dhai kilo ka haath’.
