Jackie Shroff’s Crime-Drama Series ‘Chidiya Udd’ Teaser Unveiled

January 7, 2025: Veteran actor Jackie Shroff is set to star in an intense new crime drama series titled ‘Chidiya Udd’, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Ravi Jadhav. The much-awaited teaser of the series was released on Monday, giving fans a first look at the gritty, raw narrative of the show.

Inspired by Aabid Surti’s novel Cages, the series explores the turbulent and dangerous world of Mumbai’s underworld. Apart from Jackie Shroff, the cast includes Bhoomika Meena, Sikandar Kher, Madhur Mittal, Mayur More, and Mita Vashisht, all playing pivotal roles.

The teaser of ‘Chidiya Udd’ takes viewers into a world where crime, power, and survival intertwine. The story follows a young woman navigating the ruthless environment of a red-light district, confronting shifting allegiances, personal survival, and tough choices in her quest for freedom. In addition to ‘Chidiya Udd’, Jackie Shroff recently garnered attention for his fierce look in the action-packed ‘Baby John’, where he sported grey long hair, vintage rings, and chains, adding an edgy vibe to his character. The film also starred Varun Dhawan in the lead role, marking the Hindi debut of actress Keerthy Suresh.
