Mumbai, March 26: Actress Jacqueline Fernandez will not be performing at the upcoming IPL ceremony in Guwahati scheduled for Wednesday, as her mother is currently unwell and undergoing treatment in the ICU.
A source close to Jacqueline confirmed the development, stating, “Jacqueline’s mother is still in the ICU recovering. The family is awaiting further updates from the doctors. During this challenging time, Jacqueline has decided to remain by her mother’s side and will unfortunately be missing her scheduled performance at the IPL ceremony.”
Further details regarding her mother’s condition have not been disclosed yet.
On the professional front, Jacqueline was recently seen alongside Sonu Sood in ‘Fateh’, an action-packed thriller inspired by real-life cybercrime incidents during the COVID-19 pandemic. The film also marked Sonu Sood’s directorial debut.
