Jaideep Ahlawat Expresses Support For Saif Ali Khan After Stabbing Attack, Urges For Privacy

January 30, 2025: Actor Jaideep Ahlawat has shared his thoughts on the recent violent attack on Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan at his Bandra residence, offering his support for the actor and his family. The attack, which occurred during a burglary attempt, left Saif with stab wounds and has been a major news topic over the past few weeks.

Jaideep revealed that while he did not speak directly to Saif or his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan after the incident, he did reach out to them with a message expressing his concern. “Direct baat nahi hui but maine message kia tha unko (I did not talk to them directly but I sent a text to them after learning about the incident),” he said.

Jaideep also expressed his concern about the media and paparazzi’s treatment of the family in the aftermath of the attack, urging them to respect their privacy during this difficult time. “Ajeeb lagta hai dekhkar (It feels weird)…I recently saw a video of a reporter chasing the actor’s car in an unsafe way to get the visuals…it’s so dangerous. Thoda bhaut sabko sochna chahiye,” he added, emphasizing the need for more thoughtfulness and consideration.

In addition to his message of support, Jaideep’s comments come as Saif and Kareena have asked the paparazzi to refrain from taking photos of their children, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir (Jeh) Ali Khan. Reports have also emerged showing that the couple has made efforts to further secure their home, including adding extra fencing to their balcony to prevent unwanted access.

The attack took place earlier this month when an intruder, identified as Mohd Shariful Islam Shehzad, entered Saif’s home with the intention of committing theft. Following a violent confrontation, Saif sustained injuries to his thoracic spine and other areas. He was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital for treatment and underwent surgery. After his discharge, Saif returned home and acknowledged the media presence.

Kareena also released a statement in the hours following the incident, highlighting the challenges her family was facing and requesting privacy. “It has been an incredibly challenging day for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded. As we navigate this difficult time, I respectfully and humbly request that the media and paparazzi refrain from the relentless speculation and coverage,” Kareena wrote, emphasizing the need for space to heal and cope.
