Janhvi Kapoor and RajKummar Rao’s ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’ Sets OTT Release Date on Netflix

Following a successful theatrical release, the film Mr & Mrs Mahi, featuring Janhvi Kapoor and RajKummar Rao, is ready to embark on its OTT journey. The film, directed by Sharan Sharma, known for his debut film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, is set to stream on Netflix starting July 26, 2024.

The official Netflix account announced the streaming date via Instagram, sharing the film’s poster with the caption: “Their story is the ultimate match Mr. & Mrs. Mahi are about to hit it straight to your screens, arriving at midnight on Netflix!”

In Mr & Mrs Mahi, Janhvi Kapoor takes on the role of Mahi, a doctor who transitions into a cricketer. The role required Kapoor to undergo intensive training for nearly two years, showcasing her commitment and dedication to bringing authenticity to her character. This film not only highlights Kapoor’s versatility but also her willingness to step out of her comfort zone for a challenging role.

The film represents the second collaboration between Kapoor and director Sharan Sharma, as well as the second pairing of Kapoor and RajKummar Rao, who previously worked together in Roohi.

On the professional front, Janhvi Kapoor is also set to star in the action thriller Ulajh, directed by National Award winner Sudhanshu Saria. The film, which also features Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew, is a patriotic thriller with an ensemble cast including Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang, Sachin Khedekar, Rajendra Gupta, and Jitendra Joshi.

RajKummar Rao, on the other hand, is preparing for the release of the highly anticipated horror comedy Stree 2.
