Janhvi Kapoor Exudes Boss Lady Vibes in ‘Ulajh’ Posters

The anticipation for ‘Ulajh’ starring Janhvi Kapoor is building, with new posters unveiled on Wednesday. Janhvi took to Instagram to share these exciting updates with her fans.

The first poster features Janhvi alongside co-stars Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Meiyang Chang, and Rajesh Tailang, all sporting intense looks. Janhvi stands out, exuding a boss lady vibe in a suit, holding a file labeled “Confidential.” Her mysterious expression has fans buzzing with excitement for the movie’s release.

Captioning the posters, Janhvi wrote, “Every face tells a story and every story is a trap! Iss #Ulajh ko Suljhao in cinemas near you from 2nd Aug! #UlajhInCinemas2ndAug!” The comment section quickly filled with enthusiasm, including responses from her sister Anshula Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor.

‘Ulajh’ explores the life of a young diplomat, an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer, navigating the complexities and challenges in her career and personal life. The recently released teaser shows Janhvi’s character determined to seek revenge against those who betrayed her and her country. Sharing the teaser, Janhvi wrote, “Enter the world of lies, deceit and betrayals- #Ulajh in cinemas on the 5th of July.”

Directed by National Award winner Sudhanshu Saria, this patriotic thriller features Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew in lead roles. Produced by Junglee Pictures, the story follows a young IFS officer from a patriotic family who becomes entangled in a dangerous personal conspiracy while stationed far from home.

Written by Parveez Shaikh and Sudhanshu Saria, with dialogues by Atika Chohan, ‘Ulajh’ promises a fresh take on the thriller genre. Janhvi expressed her excitement about the role, saying, “When I was approached with the script of ‘Ulajh’, it instantly attracted me because as an actor, I am constantly looking for scripts that make me break out of my comfort zone. My character and the story have so many layers, emotions, and parameters, which is challenging and exciting at the same time. I am thrilled for the audience to see me in this new role envisioned by Sudhanshu.”

The film also stars Adil Hussain, Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang, Sachin Khedekar, Rajendra Gupta, and Jitendra Joshi in pivotal roles. Initially slated for release on July 5, ‘Ulajh’ will now hit theaters on August 2.
