Janhvi Kapoor Faces Espionage and Nepotism in ‘Ulajh’ Trailer

Junglee Pictures has unveiled the gripping trailer for ‘Ulajh,’ starring Janhvi Kapoor as Suhana Bhatia, a young diplomat caught in a web of espionage and conspiracy. Directed by National Award winner Sudhanshu Saria, the film promises an intense narrative set within the high-stakes world of international diplomacy.

The trailer introduces Janhvi Kapoor’s character, Suhana Bhatia, the youngest Deputy High Commissioner, as she navigates a treacherous path where her every action is under scrutiny. Her role addresses the pervasive issue of nepotism, with colleagues questioning her capabilities and attributing her position to familial connections, adding layers of tension and conflict.

Gulshan Devaiah joins the cast as a mysterious undercover agent, further heightening the suspense. The trailer hints at a complex web of secrets and betrayals, with an internal leak threatening the lives of undercover agents and plunging Suhana into a desperate fight for survival.

Director Sudhanshu Saria emphasizes the film’s thematic depth, describing it as a nuanced exploration of the intricate decisions in international diplomacy, enriched by compelling performances from Janhvi Kapoor, Gulshan Devaiah, and Roshan Mathew. The characters, each with their own shades of grey, promise to take audiences on a thrilling journey filled with unexpected twists.

Scripted by Sudhanshu Saria and Parveez Shaikh, with dialogues by Atika Chauhan, ‘Ulajh’ is set for release on August 2, 2024.
