Janhvi Kapoor Teases Ram Charan’s Intense Look from ‘RC16’; First Look Drops March 27

The upcoming action drama directed by Buchi Babu Sana stars Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jagapathi Babu, with music by AR Rahman

Mumbai, March 26: Excitement is building for Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor’s upcoming film, tentatively titled ‘RC16’, as the actress dropped a new teaser poster offering fans a glimpse of the megastar’s intense avatar.

Taking to her Instagram Story on Wednesday, Janhvi shared a poster showing Ram Charan from behind, holding a cigarette, exuding a rugged and powerful vibe. With messy hair, a heavy beard, and a brooding stance, Charan’s look hints at a raw and intense character. The poster teases the first look reveal on March 27, 2025.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, RC16 also stars Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar and veteran actor Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. The much-awaited project is backed by Sukumar Writings, the production house of director Sukumar. Adding to the buzz is the film’s music, which is being composed by Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman.

The shooting of RC16 is set to begin soon, with fans eagerly anticipating more updates.

Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor is keeping busy with multiple projects. She will next be seen in ‘Param Sundari’ opposite Sidharth Malhotra. The film, directed by Tushar Jalota and produced by Dinesh Vijan, is a romantic drama set against the backdrop of Kerala’s scenic backwaters and is slated to release on July 25, 2025.

As for Ram Charan, the star was last seen in the political thriller ‘Game Changer’ opposite Kiara Advani, which had a strong run at the box office following its January 10 release.

With a stellar cast, powerhouse production, and Rahman’s musical magic, RC16 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated South Indian films of the year.
