Janhvi Kapoor Stuns Fans with 'Ulajh' Trailer Preview
Janhvi Kapoor is all set to dazzle in her latest film, ‘Ulajh’. On Monday, she made a stylish appearance in the city, treating fans to an exclusive sneak peek of the film’s trailer.
The full trailer is scheduled for release on Tuesday. Janhvi turned heads in a stunning Balmain gown with a high front slit, paired with black sunglasses, soft glam makeup, and high heels.
Taking to Instagram, she teased, “And the secret is… #UlajhTrailer is dropping tomorrow! Can’t wait to share it!! In theatres on the 2nd of August.” She also unveiled a gripping new poster featuring her character with bruises on her face.
Directed by Sudhanshu Saria, ‘Ulajh’ boasts a stellar cast including Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang, and Meiyang Chang. The film hits theaters on August 2nd.
The recently released teaser offers a 56-second glimpse of Janhvi’s character, determined to seek revenge against those who betrayed her and her country. Sharing the teaser on Instagram, Janhvi wrote, “Enter the world of lies, deceit, and betrayals- #Ulajh in cinemas on the 5th of July.”
Produced by Junglee Pictures, ‘Ulajh’ follows a young IFS officer from a prominent family of patriots, who finds herself entangled in a dangerous conspiracy while on a crucial assignment. Written by Parveez Shaikh and Sudhanshu Saria, with dialogues by Atika Chohan, this new-age thriller promises an unprecedented experience in the genre.
Reflecting on her role, Janhvi shared, “When I was approached with the script of ‘Ulajh’, it instantly attracted me. As an actor, I am constantly looking for scripts that push me out of my comfort zone. Portraying a character in the world of Indian Foreign Services was just that. The film’s layers, emotions, and complexities are challenging and exciting. I am thrilled for the audience to see this new role envisioned by Sudhanshu, who brings a fresh approach to this genre. I am also excited to work with such talented co-actors and collaborate with Junglee Pictures for the first time.”
