New Delhi, June 19, 2025: Television actor Jasmin Bhasin has once again proven she doesn’t shy away from calling out social media trolls. On June 18, the actor posted a fun Instagram reel lip-syncing to the iconic Bollywood song Intaha Ho Gayi Intezar Ki, originally picturised on Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Prada. While many fans praised the video, one troll chose to focus on Jasmin’s appearance, accusing her of undergoing cosmetic enhancements.

The comment in question read, “Jasmin ne upper lips mein injection lagaya hai (Jasmin took lip injections).” Rather than ignoring it, Jasmin delivered a savage yet light-hearted comeback. “Injection nahi filter (Not injection, but filter),” she replied, accompanied by a laughing emoji — instantly earning praise from her fans.

This isn’t the first time the actor has addressed rumors around cosmetic treatments. Back in April, Jasmin clarified in an interview with Bollywood Bubble that she has never undergone lip augmentation. “I had swelling due to an incident, and my makeup artist had overlined my lips a lot that day. It looked good initially — filters on Instagram also make lips look fuller. But later, I realised it didn’t suit me. That’s all. There was no procedure done,” she explained.

Jasmin also voiced her views on Botox and cosmetic enhancements, stating, “Everyone has their own body and their own choices. If someone wants to do something to feel good about themselves, they should be free to do it.”

In a related controversy, Jasmin and her boyfriend, actor Aly Goni, recently faced online backlash for calling each other “chapri” on Instagram Stories. The slang, often associated with classist or casteist undertones, didn’t sit well with netizens. However, the couple clarified the exchange was intended as light humor. Aly reposted a media article about the backlash, and Jasmin shared it with the caption, “But it was supposed to be funny,” along with laughing emojis.

Currently, Jasmin is part of the reality show The Traitors, and continues to remain a fan favorite for both her on-screen charm and off-screen authenticity.
