December 17, 2024: Veteran actor Jeetendra and his wife Shobha Kapoor marked their 50th wedding anniversary with a grand celebration, filled with love, laughter, and nostalgia. The couple renewed their wedding vows in a heartwarming ceremony surrounded by family and close friends at their residence.

The evening featured cherished traditions and fun-filled moments, with daughter Ektaa Kapoor sharing glimpses of the festivities on Instagram. The celebrations included a mehendi ceremony, a traditional varmala exchange, and the cutting of an elegant three-tier anniversary cake that read, “Happy 50th Anniversary.”

In a joyful video shared by Ektaa, the family living room turned into a dance floor as Ektaa Kapoor herself joined friends and relatives in celebratory dancing. Actor Krystle D’Souza, who also attended, posted heartwarming pictures with the caption:

Jeetendra, who made his Bollywood debut with Shantaram’s Geet Gaya Paththaron Ne (1964), rose to stardom with iconic hits like Farz (1967). He married Shobha Kapoor in 1974, and together they raised two children—Ektaa Kapoor and Tusshar Kapoor. The couple are also proud grandparents to Lakshya and Ravie.

While Jeetendra’s legacy remains unmatched in Bollywood, Shobha Kapoor is credited for producing some of India’s most successful and popular television shows, alongside daughter Ektaa.
