Ahead of Sikandar’s release, Salman Khan addresses threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and reflects on life, faith, and security concerns.

March 28, 2025: With just days to go before the release of Sikandar, Salman Khan finally addressed a topic that has loomed over his life in recent years — the death threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. At a press conference held last night, the Bollywood superstar opened up about living under constant security, his future projects, and the intense public interest surrounding his life.

When asked about the threats linked to the 1998 Blackbuck poaching case — a matter that the Bishnoi community takes personally — Salman responded with calm acceptance. “Bhagwan, Allah sab unpar hai. Jitni umar likhi hai, utni likhi hai,” he said. “Kabhi kabhi itne logon ko saath mein leke chalna padta hai, bas wohi problem ho jaati hai.” (It’s all in God’s hands. I’ll live for as long as I’m meant to. Sometimes, it just becomes a problem moving around with people constantly surrounding me.)

The actor’s comments come months after a shocking incident in April 2024, when two individuals on a bike opened fire outside his residence in Bandra. The assailants were later apprehended, and police confirmed it was a coordinated attack led by Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, Anmol Bishnoi.
