Joe Jonas & Sophie Turner Are the Co-Parenting Plot Twist We Didn’t Expect

July 10, 2025: Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner may no longer be a couple, but things between them are better than ever. According to a source speaking exclusively to PEOPLE, the two stars have settled into a smooth co-parenting rhythm since their split in September 2023. “There’s a mutual respect now, and the girls are their priority,” the insider shared. “Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have hit a surprisingly peaceful groove, and they’ve maintained an amicable relationship from two continents, which isn’t easy — but they’ve managed to pull it off.”

Joe Jonas, 35, and Turner, 29, share two daughters, Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2. The pair were married for four years before calling it quits, but both have since put family first. During a recent appearance on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose Live Tour, Jonas opened up about his parenting journey. “I have a beautiful co-parenting relationship that I’m really grateful for,” he said. “Having an incredible mom, Sophie Tumer , for those girls is like a dream come true.”

He continued by reflecting on the values he wants for his daughters: “To be open-minded, to have a big heart, to walk into any room with confidence — and know they can do anything they want.”

Turner, too, has shown her support. In May, she promoted Jonas’ new album Music for People Who Believe in Love on Instagram Stories, writing, “Go go @joejonas.”

Their split initially made headlines for a legal battle over custody. Turner sued Jonas in September 2023, claiming the children were being “wrongfully retained” in the U.S. But by October, a temporary custody agreement allowed the children to split time between the U.S. and U.K., and Turner dropped her claims in January 2024.

“They turned things around from the initial messy custody battle,” the source added. “They are friendly and great co-parents now.”
