John Abraham Promotes Indian Racing Festival 2025 In Goa, Talks Motorsports Passion And Upcoming Film 'The Diplomat'
February 10, 2025: Actor John Abraham was in Goa on Sunday to promote the Indian Racing Festival 2025, an exciting motorsports event that will take place across India from August to November. The Indian Racing Festival, organized by Racing Promotions Pvt. Limited (RPPL), is a franchise-based league that promises to bring thrilling motorsport action to various locations in India.
During his visit, John, who is also the owner of the Goa Races franchise under the banner of JA Racing, expressed his excitement for the event, especially the prospect of street racing in Goa. He shared, “We have come here for the Indian Racing League, and we have the Goa team. We are very excited to be here. We hope the state Tourism Minister supports street racing. We have got the preliminary permission from the Tourism department, and we are hoping to fulfill it and bring racing to Goa.”
John Abraham, an avid motorsport enthusiast, also explained why he chose Goa as the location for his racing franchise team. “Everybody knows I love motorcycles and cars. In fact, Goa holds fond memories for me because my film Dhoom happened in Goa. So it’s just coming back home for me. I think my most emotional and natural trip was to Goa, and I said no, it has to be Goa, which is why we’re here,” he said, reminiscing about his connection to the state.
Alongside his motorsport endeavors, John Abraham is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film The Diplomat. The film, which was recently teased with an intriguing trailer, delves into high-stakes diplomacy where words are the ultimate weapons and intellect is at the forefront. John will be seen in a role that diverges from his usual action-packed performances, offering fans a new side of the actor.
The Diplomat features an ensemble cast including Sadia Khateeb, Revathy, and Kumud Mishra, promising an intense and dramatic cinematic experience. Based on a true story, the film explores themes of power, patriotism, and strategy. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on March 7, 2025.
John’s dual excitement for the motorsport festival and his upcoming movie reflects his diverse interests in both action-packed racing and serious, intense drama.
