
John Abraham’s Independence Day Thriller ‘Vedaa’ Unveils Powerful Trailer
This year’s Independence Day will be particularly special for John Abraham fans as the actor is set to release an intense action thriller titled ‘Vedaa’.
Co-starring Sharvari and Tamannaah Bhatia, the film is directed by Nikkhil Advani and promises to deliver a compelling narrative of resilience and human spirit.
‘Vedaa’ follows the journey of a young woman named Vedaa, portrayed by Sharvari, who challenges societal norms and fights for justice. Supporting her in this fight is a former soldier, played by John Abraham, who becomes her protector and ally.
On Thursday, the makers released the film’s trailer, which opens with John Abraham’s character reciting Lord Krishna’s lines from the Bhagavad Gita against a backdrop of intense action scenes.
Expressing his enthusiasm, John Abraham said, “I am excited to be part of a film like ‘Vedaa’. It’s a story that will resonate with audiences and inspire them to stand up for what is right.”
Director Nikkhil Advani highlighted the film’s blend of entertainment and meaningful message. He shared, “I feel very strongly about presenting a film that entertains but also delivers a message, provokes a thought that stays with its audience for a long time after the film ends. I hope ‘Vedaa’ is that film.”
Produced by Zee Studios, Umesh Kr Bansal, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, John Abraham, and co-produced by Minnakshi Das, ‘Vedaa’ also features Abhishek Bannerjee. The film is set to clash at the box office with ‘Stree 2’ on August 15.
