John Abraham’s much-anticipated political thriller, The Diplomat, has been officially postponed by a week. Initially scheduled for a March 7, 2025 release, the film will now hit theatres on March 14, coinciding with the Holi weekend.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the update, writing:
“JOHN ABRAHAM: THE DIPLOMAT NEW RELEASE DATE – HOLI WEEKEND… #TheDiplomat, starring #JohnAbraham, was confirmed for release on 7 March 2025 but will now arrive one week later, on 14 March 2025 [#Holi weekend].”

A High-Stakes Political Thriller

Directed by Shivam Nair, The Diplomat stars John Abraham as JP Singh, a sharp-witted diplomat who must navigate the treacherous world of international diplomacy. The thriller focuses on a high-stakes rescue mission, showcasing the power of strategy over violence.

Adding to the excitement, the film’s anthem, “Bharat,” has been released. Originally composed by A.R. Rahman, the track has been reimagined by Manan Bhardwaj, with lyrics by Manoj Muntashir and vocals by the legendary Hariharan.

The film boasts an ensemble cast, including Sadia Khateeb, Sharib Hashmi, Revathy, and Kumud Mishra, who play key roles in this gripping thriller.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar (T-Series), John Abraham (JA Entertainment), Vipul D.
