John Abraham’s latest political thriller, The Diplomat, is struggling to maintain its momentum at the box office. The downward trend continued on Tuesday, with the film earning just ₹1.47 crore, bringing its India net total to ₹16.2 crore.

📌 Day 3: ₹3.2 Cr
📌 Day 4: ₹1.53 Cr
📌 Day 5: ₹1.47 Cr
🟢 India Net Total: ₹16.2 Cr
🟢 Worldwide Gross: ₹21 Cr
Despite playing across 2,657 screens in India, The Diplomat saw low occupancy rates on Tuesday.
✅ Chennai – 27% (Highest)
✅ Pune – 12.25%
✅ Jaipur – 11.75%
✅ Mumbai – 10%
✅ Delhi-NCR – 7.75%
Directed by Shivam Nair, the film is inspired by real-life incidents and features a strong supporting cast, including Sadia Khateeb, Sharib Hashmi, Kumud Mishra, and Revathy. However, mixed reviews and stiff competition from Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava seem to be affecting its performance.
With Hollywood’s Snow White and other Bollywood releases arriving soon, it remains to be seen if The Diplomat can hold its ground or fade out in the coming weeks.
