In a recent interview with E! News, the actor declared, “I’m available,” but quickly added, “It’s just, I think there’s a genetic predisposition,” hinting at deeper complexities in his personal love life.
The 36-year-old star, who publicly came out as gay in 2018, admitted that starring in the hit period drama hasn’t helped him romantically. “It’s a fantasy, isn’t it?” Bailey said, explaining that the scripted romance of Bridgerton doesn’t reflect the grounded and real experiences of dating in the LGBTQ+ community.
