Jr NTR’s ‘Devara: Part 1’ Wins Hearts In Japan, Actor Shares Gratitude

March 27, 2025: Superstar Jr NTR recently shared a touching experience from his visit to Japan, where his film Devara: Part 1 has been creating a massive buzz among the local audience. In an emotional social media post, the actor revealed that a Japanese fan, inspired by his previous blockbuster RRR, had gone the extra mile to learn Telugu, his native language.

Jr NTR expressed his gratitude and awe at the fan’s dedication, saying that it moved him deeply. The actor noted the power of cinema in bridging cultural divides and encouraging fans to connect with new languages. “Being a lover of cinema and languages, the power of cinema to be a bridge across cultures and encouraging a fan to learn a language is something I will never forget,” he wrote on his social media platform.

This special moment comes as Jr NTR continues to celebrate the success of Devara: Part 1, which has been making waves in Japan. The actor posted a video clip from an event in Japan, where fans could be seen passionately cheering for him. His excitement was evident in his post: “Overwhelmed, Japan! Can’t wait for the Japanese audience to experience #Devara in cinemas from March 28th.”

Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara: Part 1 marks Jr NTR’s return to the big screen after his Golden Globe and Oscar-winning success with RRR. In the film, Jr NTR plays a dual role, portraying both Devara and Varadha. The story of Devara takes place in a coastal region where power struggles and dramatic conflicts are central to the plot.

The movie has been released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, further expanding its global reach. Alongside Jr NTR, the film features a stellar cast, including Janhvi Kapoor. The movie was initially released in India on September 27, and the international audience, particularly in Japan, is eagerly awaiting its premiere.
