Jr NTR’s Devera Surpasses ₹325 Crore Worldwide, Solidifying Its Box Office Dominance

Jr NTR’s much-anticipated Devera has officially crossed the ₹300 crore mark at the global box office, with recent reports confirming its total earnings of ₹325 crore worldwide. In India alone, the film has raked in a staggering ₹215.60 crore (nett) in its first seven days, while earning ₹1.55 crore on day eight, showcasing strong box office performance despite mixed reviews.

Jr NTR’s Triumphant Solo Comeback
Devera marks Jr NTR’s first solo release in six years, his last being the record-breaking RRR, where he shared the screen with Ram Charan under SS Rajamouli’s direction. The Devera star took to X (formerly Twitter) to thank his fans and the team behind the film, writing, “The day I had been waiting for is finally here… Overwhelmed by your incredible reactions. To my fans, witnessing your celebrations for Devara makes me so elated. Forever indebted for your love. Glad you’re enjoying it as much as I did. I promise to keep entertaining you all.”

All-Star Cast and Record-Breaking Earnings
The film features an ensemble cast with Jr NTR in a dual role, joined by Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Srikanth Meka, Tom Shine Chacko, and Narain. Saif Ali Khan plays Bhaira, a master of kushti (wrestling), whose seemingly invincible power is challenged by Jr NTR’s character.

Jr NTR reportedly received a staggering ₹60 crore for his performance, a significant increase from the ₹45 crore he earned for RRR. Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor charged ₹5 crore for her role, and Saif Ali Khan, the film’s main antagonist, took home a pay cheque of ₹13 crore. With a budget of ₹300 crore, Devera: Part 1 has already become a massive commercial success.

Despite a mix of critical opinions, the film had a massive opening, earning ₹172 crore on its first day, solidifying Jr NTR’s dominance at the box office following the global success of RRR, which earned over ₹1,200 crore worldwide.

The Future of Devera
With the first part performing exceptionally well, anticipation for the continuation of Devera is already building. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film’s grand scale and Jr NTR’s dual-role performance have captivated audiences, setting the stage for what could become another major milestone in Telugu cinema.

As Devera continues to ride the wave of its success, it’s clear that Jr NTR’s star power remains undeniable, cementing his place as one of the biggest box office draws in Indian cinema.
