Justin Baldoni In Trouble Again, Isabela Ferrer Accuses Him of Harassment

In a new development in the ongoing lawsuit with Blake Lively, actress Isabela Ferrer has filed a motion accusing Justin Baldoni of attempting to manipulate her legal testimony and using “intimidation” tactics to control her subpoena response.

August 20, 2025: The legal turmoil surrounding the movie It Ends With Us has gotten even more heated, as actress Isabela Ferrer has officially accused director Justin Baldoni of harassment and assault. Ferrer said in a court statement on Sunday that Baldoni and his production business, Wayfarer Studios, are using “manipulation” and “financial influence” to restrict how she responds to a subpoena from co-star Blake Lively.

Lively’s case against Baldoni for sexual harassment and retaliation started a lengthy court battle that Ferrer, who plays the younger version of Lively’s character in the movie, is now a part of. Ferrer says that Wayfarer Studios, which is legally required to pay her legal bills, would only do so if she gave up control of how she responded to Lively’s subpoena.

Baldoni’s lawyers filed a motion on Monday in response to the claims, strongly denying them all. News sites who got court documents said that Baldoni’s lawyers called Ferrer’s charges “without merit” and “an inappropriate attack.” They said that their subpoena to Ferrer was a valid request for documents that had not been given before or were not covered by Lively’s subpoena. Baldoni’s lawyers also said that Ferrer was “frustrating all effort” to serve her with their subpoena because she hasn’t responded.

This new discovery makes an already complicated legal dispute even more so. Lively’s first lawsuit against Baldoni says he sexually harassed her and then retaliated by starting a “hidden campaign to ruin her reputation” after she spoke out. The lawsuit even says that Baldoni put a sequence that caused a lot of trouble into the movie and said something inappropriate on set.

Baldoni’s lawyers have always said that all of Lively’s claims are false. To try to undermine Ferrer’s claims, his lawyers produced old text conversations in which she called him a “great director” and “wonderful to work with.”

The legal battle is getting worse, and Taylor Swift has already been asked to testify and made a number of public documents. The case is set to go to trial in March 2026. The It Ends With Us story doesn’t look like it’s going to finish anytime soon, especially with Isabela Ferrer’s accusations.
