Justin Baldoni Shares Unseen Footage From 'It Ends With Us' To Prove He Did Not Harass Blake
January 23, 2025: The legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni has taken a new turn, with Baldoni releasing previously unseen footage from their film It Ends with Us to counter the allegations made by Lively in her lawsuit.
Lively, in her filing, claimed that Baldoni's behavior during the production of the film caused her "severe emotional distress" and included inappropriate comments about her weight, discussions of sexual topics, references to his "pornography addiction," and more.
In the lawsuit, Lively, 37, also mentioned specific incidents where Baldoni allegedly made crude remarks about the cast and crew, showed explicit images, and crossed boundaries despite her requests for respect and professionalism. One of the demands she made in a meeting attended by her husband, Ryan Reynolds, was for "no more showing nude videos or images to Blake" and for "no more adding sex scenes outside the approved script." She also requested that there be "no further comments about Blake's late father."
In response to these allegations, Baldoni's legal team has now made public a scene from the movie—It Ends with Us—in which Lively's character, Lily Bloom, and Baldoni's character, Ryle Kincaid, share a slow dance. The footage appears to show that the two actors were interacting with professionalism, mutual respect, and camaraderie, with no indication of any inappropriate behavior. The behind-the-scenes video also reveals moments of humor and good-natured interactions between the two during the filming of intimate scenes.
This footage is part of Baldoni's legal team's effort to demonstrate that the claims made by Lively in her lawsuit do not align with the conduct displayed on set. Despite the legal disputes, the scene suggests that the two were able to maintain a working relationship and professionalism during the production.
