Justin Bieber Performs Only In Silk Gym Shorts For First Solo Act In 4 Years At Grammys 2026

Justin Bieber set the 68th Annual Grammy Awards ablaze on Sunday, February 1, 2026, with a raw and stripped-down performance that has since gone viral.

Returning to the Grammy stage for the first time in four years, the 31-year-old superstar delivered a soulful rendition of his hit single “Yukon” from his critically acclaimed 2025 R&B album, Swag.

The Performance: Tattoos, Guitar, and Silk Shorts

Bieber opted for a bold, “no-frills” aesthetic that focused entirely on his musicality and physique:

  • The Look: He appeared shirtless, sporting only silk gym shorts (often described by fans as boxers) and black socks. His extensive collection of tattoos across his chest, neck, and arms was on full display.
  • The Act: Strapping on an electric guitar, he opened with a gritty, melodic intro before transitioning into the soulful vocals of “Yukon.”
  • The Vibe: Unlike the high-energy, choreographed sets of other performers, Justin’s act was intimate; he performed much of the song with his eyes closed, occasionally strolling across the stage with an air of casual confidence.

Hailey Bieber: The Proud Wife

Seated in the front row at the Crypto.com Arena, Hailey Bieber was his biggest cheerleader.

  • The Reaction: Cameras captured the Rhode founder bobbing her head and smiling throughout the set.
  • Pre-Show Support: Earlier in the week, Hailey had celebrated Justin’s four nominations (including Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album) on Instagram, calling him a “27x nominee” and posting, “Let’s go baby.”

Grammy Night Results & Future Plans

While the performance was a standout moment of the night, Justin ultimately did not take home any trophies this year.

  • The Winners: Lady Gaga won Best Pop Vocal Album for Mayhem, and Bad Bunny made history by winning Album of the Year for Debí Tirar Más Fotos.
  • What’s Next: Fans won’t have to wait long to see him again. Justin is officially set to headline the 2026 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival this April, marking his first full U.S. concert residency since his hiatus began in 2022.
