Justin Bieber is pushing back after facing renewed public scrutiny — this time for smoking weed in front of his teenage brother, Jaxon, during the second weekend of Coachella.
“Yes, he smokes weed like everyone else. But everything he does is being weaponized against him,” a source told People on Tuesday, insisting the pop star was simply “vibing” and “having fun.”
The backlash follows viral clips of the 31-year-old Grammy winner dancing shirtless and lighting up at a Coachella afterparty, with his younger brother nearby. But those close to Bieber say the criticism is overblown — especially considering Jaxon is a teenager, and Justin’s son Jack was not present.
“Justin’s dad came into town to bring Jaxon to the festival after seeing how much fun Justin and Hailey had the first weekend,” the insider added.
Hailey Bieber Still Standing by Him — But with Boundaries
Amid growing speculation about trouble in the couple’s marriage, sources are pushing back on the divorce rumors.

“She’s very loyal, but she’s been in tears. She’s scared something bad is going to happen to Justin,” they revealed.
“She’s not walking away, but she knows something has to change.”
