Kajol celebrates 1 year of ‘Salaam Venky’: “This film was truly a journey”

Today marks the one-year anniversary of the family-friendly comedy “Salaam Venky,” and star Kajol thanked everyone for the “vastly educating experience.” To commemorate this day, Kajol posted a series of images of herself and Revathy on Instagram. “To the highs and lows, to the vastly educating experience and all the endearment… This film was truly a journey that will be in our hearts forever,” she wrote, sharing the pictures. In honour of the #salaamvenky @vishaljethwa06 @revathyasha @riddhikumar_ @aahanakumra @simplyrajeev @rahulbose7 @pillumani @joinprakashraj #kamalsadanah #aamirkhan team, cheers!” Under the direction of Revathy, the movie tells the incredibly inspiring story of a mother who supports her son in living life to the fullest and celebrating life by overcoming every obstacle.

In addition to Kajol and Vishal Jethwa, Rahul Bose, Rajeev Khandelwal, Prakash Raj, and Ahana Kumra play important roles in the movie. ‘Salaam Venky’ is Aamir Khan and Kajol’s third film together, in which Aamir made a cameo appearance. Together, they were featured in the 2006 film “Fanaa.” They also shared a role in the 1997 movie “Ishq.”
Produced by Suuraj Sinngh, Varsha Kukreja, and Shraddha Agrawal under the auspices of BLIVE Productions and RTAKE Studios, Salaam Venky, directed by Revathy, was released in theatres on December 9, 2022. It was presented by Connekkt Media. ‘Do Patti’ is the next film in which Kajol and Kriti Sanon will be seen together.

Under the direction of Shashanka Chaturvedi, “Do Patti,” which is written by Kanika Dhillon and produced by Kathha Pictures and Kriti Sanon, will only be available for streaming on Netflix, an over-the-top service.
The film is slated to transport viewers to the captivating hills of North India, which provide as a backdrop for the mystery and intrigue to unfold, and take them on an exhilarating, suspenseful ride like never before. On August 18, Mumbai became the site of the film’s production.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled to team up with Netflix once again after ‘Tribhanga’ and ‘Lust Stories 2’, this time for an exhilarating ride that does Patti,” Kajol said earlier, discussing her thoughts on the movie.

The chance to be available on streaming has been incredibly thrilling since it has given us the chance to explore new ground and tell engrossing tales to a global audience. The remarkable script of “Do Patti” promises a special fusion of mystery and adventure. In addition to having its roots in India, the story promises excitement that moviegoers everywhere can enjoy, Kajol continued.
