‘Kalki 2898 AD’ Trailer to Release on June 10

The highly anticipated trailer for the sci-fi thriller ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone, is set to drop on June 10. The announcement was made on Wednesday via the film’s official X account, accompanied by a striking new poster. The poster features Prabhas as Bhairava, standing tall on a mountain peak with the tagline, “Everything is about to change.”

Directed by Nag Ashwin, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has been generating buzz since the teaser of Amitabh Bachchan’s character was revealed during an IPL match last month. The 21-second teaser depicted Big B in warm earthy tones, seated in a cave, praying to a Shiva linga, covered in bandages. A young boy questions him, asking, “Kya tum bhagwan ho, kya tum marr nahi sakte? Tum Bhagwan ho? Kaun ho Tum?” to which his character responds, “Dwapar yug se Dash avatar ki pratiksha kar raha hoon main, Dronacharya ka putra Ashwatthama.”

Set in a mythology-inspired sci-fi world, the film also stars Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani. Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is slated for a theatrical release on June 27.
