Kalki Koechlin Dazzles As Showstopper At Lakmé Fashion Week In Classic White Outfit

March 31, 2025: Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin made a stunning appearance as the showstopper for the “Max Presents Sicilian Summer & Amalfi Escape” collection on Day 5 of Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI. Dressed in a gorgeous white printed frock-style dress, Kalki effortlessly captured attention with her graceful look, showcasing a perfect blend of elegance and style.

During the event, Kalki, who is a proud mother to daughter Sappho with her partner Guy Hershberg, humorously shared her experiences of the everyday challenges of parenting. In particular, she discussed the struggles of choosing outfits while carrying a toddler. “Challenges of parenting–what to wear when you are carrying a toddler. Because you know that you carry a toddler, and you don’t want anything to go on your dress, so you need a flexible dress… You need something comfortable. It’s hard to dress properly when you have a kid,” she told.

Speaking about her outfit for the show, Kalki revealed that the design was inspired by Italy’s vibrant culture and scenic landscapes. “This outfit represents Italy, and you can see a lot of references to Italy. It’s really about escape and travel and the sort of summery, light feeling that you have when you go on holiday,” she explained, capturing the essence of an idyllic Italian escape.

On the work front, Kalki Koechlin recently made her Tamil film debut with Nesippaya, where she portrayed the role of a lawyer. Directed by Vishnuvardhan, the film, which features music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, hit theatres on January 14 this year. The actress continues to make her mark in diverse roles, both on and off the screen.
