August 11, 2025: There is a fresh scandal involving Kamal Haasan, a well-known politician and actor. Ravichandran, a TV actor, said he would kill him if he spoke out against “Sanatana Dharma.” People of Haasan’s Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) party have gone to the police to ask for protection for the prominent person because of the threat.

The fight erupted when Haasan spoke out against the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) at an event for an NGO run by actor Suriya. He also said that the medical entrance exam was a “bad result of Sanatana Dharma” and that the law had “crushed the dreams of many MBBS aspirants.” “Education is the only way to break the chains of sanatana dharma and dictatorship,” he stated.

Ravichandran, a Tamil TV actor who is most known for his roles in serials, warned people to stay away from Haasan after he stated these things. He reportedly said in a private channel debate that he would “slit his throat.”

A lot of political problems have come up because of the risk. The BJP’s Tamil Nadu branch has also spoken out against Haasan’s ideals and told people not to watch any of his movies, whether they are in theaters or on streaming platforms.
