Kangana Backs Raveena After Scuffle Outside Her Home

Actor Kangana Ranaut has publicly supported Raveena Tandon following a reported altercation outside Tandon’s Mumbai residence.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Kangana expressed her concern, stating, “What happened to Raveena Tandon ji is absolutely alarming; had there been 5-6 more people in the opposite group, she would have been lynched; we condemn such road rage outbursts; those people must be reprimanded. They must not get away with such violent and poisonous behaviour.”

The incident, according to Mumbai Police, occurred when Raveena’s driver was reversing her car on Saturday night. A family passing in front of the building’s gate believed they were about to be hit, leading to a scuffle between the driver and three women from the family. Raveena intervened after hearing the argument, but both parties eventually left without further incident.

Police arrived on the scene, questioned Raveena’s staff, and called both parties to the Khar Police Station. There were no injuries or vehicle collisions, and no formal complaints were filed by either side.

Later, Raveena took to X to share a post from ‘Viral Bhayani’ that the complaint was false. She included a statement from Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Rajtilak Roshan of Zone 9, who confirmed, “The complaint was false. We checked the entire CCTV footage of the society and found that the actress’s driver was reversing the car from the road into the society when this family was crossing the same lane. The family stopped the car and told the driver that he should check if people were behind the car before reversing, and an argument started between them.”
