Kangana praises Vikrant's performance in '12th Fail'
On Thursday, actor Vikrant Massey received a tonne of praise from actor Kangana Ranaut for his role in the film “12th Fail.” Kangana posted a poster for the movie “12th Fail” on Instagram Stories, accompanied by the comment, “What an amazing movie. I was crying the entire movie. I’ve never cried so much on a plane, and my fellow passengers were staring at me with concern. I’m embarrassed. I’m from a rural village, where I attended general caste classes without being given any special treatment.
She wrote in another story, “Vidhu sir has once again won my heart. Vikrant Massey is incredible! Salutations to your talent, dear one. He may just fill the void left by Irfan Khan saab in the years to come.” Directored by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, ’12th Fail’ centres on UPSC hopefuls and draws from personal experiences. It is based on the real-life hardships faced by millions of students who take the UPSC entrance exam.
“The movie is very typical Vidhu Vinod Chopra movie which is based on hard reality and is a very hard-hitting film,” Vikrant told ANI about his experience working on the movie. It was an extremely difficult role. I had to get in shape and lighten my complexion.” Among those who have praised the movie are Anil Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Sanjay Dutt, Rishabh Shetty, and Kamal Haasan. When “12th Fail” debuted in theatres on October 27, it competed with Kangana Ranaut’s “Tejas.” Kangana’s upcoming film, “Emergency,” will be her first to be directed by herself. In contrast, Vikrant will appear in “Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba,” the second installment of Hassen Dilruba.
