Kangana Ranaut Announces Her Return To Movie Sets, Shares BTS

January 27, 2025: Kangana Ranaut has officially announced her return to the sets of her upcoming project, a psychological thriller that will once again bring her together with R. Madhavan, her co-star from the beloved ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ films. Fans of the duo are thrilled to see them reunite, this time in a completely different genre that promises a gripping experience.

The movie, which will be directed by Vijay, known for his acclaimed work on the biographical drama Thalaivii, will be shot as a bilingual release in Hindi and Tamil. Kangana expressed her excitement about getting back to work on a film set, sharing her enthusiasm through an Instagram story featuring a clapperboard from the shoot, captioned with, “Nothing is more delightful than being on a film set.”

The psychological thriller is generating a lot of buzz, not only because of the star cast but also because of the talented team behind the film. The music will be composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar, known for his exceptional compositions, while Nirav Shah, a celebrated cinematographer, will handle the visuals.

Kangana’s excitement is evident in her posts, as she also shared a picture with R. Madhavan, hinting at their exciting new collaboration. Their chemistry, which was widely appreciated in the Tanu Weds Manu series, will be one of the highlights for fans eagerly awaiting the film.

Kangana has also been busy with her directorial venture, ‘Emergency’, in which she plays the role of Indira Gandhi. The film has stirred conversation for its depiction of the 1975-77 emergency period in Indian history. Meanwhile, R. Madhavan was recently seen in Hisaab Barabar, available on ZEE5.
