Actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has heaped praise on filmmaker Aditya Dhar following the massive success of his latest film Dhurandhar: The Revenge. In a strong statement, she emphasized that directors often play a bigger role than actors in shaping a film’s success, while also highlighting how they are frequently underappreciated in the industry.

Taking to social media, Kangana described Dhar as a “superstar director,” drawing comparisons with global filmmakers like Steven Spielberg, Quentin Tarantino, and Christopher Nolan. She stated that unlike in Hollywood, Indian filmmakers rarely receive the credit they deserve.

In her note, Kangana also made a striking remark, claiming that filmmakers are often “bullied by superstars” and are overworked and underpaid. She expressed concern that this environment discourages aspiring talent from pursuing careers in direction, cinematography, and other technical fields in cinema.

Notably, while praising Dhar, Kangana did not mention any of the film’s lead actors, including Ranveer Singh, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, or Sara Arjun, which caught the attention of many fans online.
