Kangana Ranaut Reveals She Didn’t Tolerate ‘Badtameez’ Bollywood Male Co-Stars

Citing “scheduling conflicts,” the Hollywood superstar reportedly turned down the prestigious award, which is being presented during Donald Trump’s second term in a politically charged environment.

August 15, 2025: Kangana Ranaut, an actress and politician, has spoken out again about how hard her career has been in Bollywood.

She told that she had a lot of problems since she wouldn’t put up with the “rude” behavior of many of her male co-stars. Ranaut, who has been a vocal critic of the company for a long time, claimed she wasn’t talking about sexual harassment but bad behavior in general.

Ranaut said, “I haven’t worked with so many heroes.” “My biggest worry was that these heroes were really rude.” She went into greater detail about the kinds of behavior she meant, including male performers “coming late, acting badly, putting the heroine down, sidelining them, and giving them a small van.”

Ranaut added that she got into a lot of trouble, including being sued, because she wouldn’t put up with that kind of behavior. She claimed, “Most girls are okay with this,” but her refusal to go along with it made others question her “pride.”

Kangana Ranaut’s debut Bollywood movie was Gangster, which came out in 2006. She acted in movies including Woh Lamhe (2006) and Life In a Metro (2007) before winning her first National Film Award for Best Supporting Female Actor for Fashion in 2008.
