Kangana Ranaut Unveils New ‘Emergency’ Poster; Trailer Release Set for August 14

Kangana Ranaut has once again piqued the interest of her fans and cinephiles by releasing a new poster for her upcoming film ‘Emergency.’ Along with the poster, she announced that the highly anticipated trailer will be unveiled on August 14, setting the stage for what promises to be a gripping portrayal of one of India’s most contentious political eras.

Taking to her official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Kangana shared the poster, which prominently features the star-studded cast, including Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, and Milind Soman. Kangana herself takes on the role of the iconic former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The poster’s tagline, “Witness the Darkest Times of Democratic Indian History & the Lust For Power that Almost Burned Down the Nation,” hints at the intense and dramatic narrative the film will deliver.

The political drama ‘Emergency’ is scheduled to release globally on September 6, 2024, just a month after the trailer launch.
